Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp coconut oil
  • 2 tbsp shea butter
  • 1 tbsp aloe vera gel use homemade or store bought
  • 1 tbsp jojoba oil
  • 1 1/2 tbsp bees wax

Instructions

  • The above ingredients go in a double broiler on the stove top until they are all in liquid form. If you don’t have a double broiler just improvise. I used a smaller pan sitting inside a bigger pan. You can also use a pyrex bowl over a pan. Basically you want water in the bigger, bottom pan and the ingredients in the smaller pan or bowl hanging over the water. Sometimes the bees wax can take a while to melt. Just stir it around a bit to help the process go by quicker.
  • Once those 4 ingredients are melted, remove from heat and let a minute.
  • Then add 10 drops of each essential oil into the mixture and stir well.
  • Now, you can poor this mix into a container or you can whip it first. I decided to whip mine with a hand blender to give it a fluffier texture but it’s not necessary. Next time I won’t bother with this step. It just adds one more thing to clean.

Notes

When not being used, simply store your healing cream in the cupboard. It should last at least one year.
