Equipment

  • 1 1 cup measuring cup
  • 1 tablespoon
  • 1 spoon for mixing ingredients
  • 1 small glass bowl for mixing ingredients
  • 1 small air-tight glass jar for storing foot scrub

Materials

  • 1 cup salt sea, epsom, Himalayan salt (I used Dr Teals)
  • 5 tbsp Avocado oil or your favorite skin healthy oil
  • 20 drops essential oil/s if not using Dr Teals

Instructions

  • Measure out your salt and oil.
  • Dump both in the small bowl and mix them up. If your mix seems a little dry for your taste then add a little more oil in. Don't get crazy though. You want the salt to most of the work.
  • Drop 20 drops of essential oil into your mix (if you aren't using the Dr Teals). You can mix essential oils if you like. Just make sure to divide the 20 drops between them.
  • Put your homemade foot scrub in an airtight container to store.

Notes

It's best to use foot scrub after soaking feet in warm water for about 10 minutes. Use clean hands to scoop out about 1 tsp of foot scrub. Rub it on one foot in circular motions for a couple of minutes. Then rinse. Repeat on the other foot and rinse them off to reveal soft feet. Use foot scrub once or twice a week.
